Keswick has a rich extractive history from the graphite mining to the quarries that have built the town’s architecture. The museum is  a great place to start your journey through historic Keswick and how the extractive sector continues to embed itself into everyday life  in the town.

As a group, our first stop will be the Keswick Museum where we will take a trip into the town’s industrial past. We will then continue our walk across town before we re-converge at the  designated meeting point.

... Keswick has a rich extractive history from the graphite mining to the quarries that have built the town’s architecture. The museum is a great place to start your journey through historic Keswick and how the extractive sector continues to embed itself into everyday life in the town.

As a group, our first stop will be the Keswick Museum where we will take a trip into the town’s industrial past. We will then continue our walk across town before we re-converge at the designated meeting point.
